Tour Plan

You'll arrive at Entebbe Airport at 8:00 am, our guide will pick you up, go for refreshments at a nearby hotel or mall, and drive to Murchison through Kampala capital city. You will pass by Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for amazing rhinos, have lunch, and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. You'll have evening tea as you wait for dinner. Your overnight stay will be at Murchison River Lodge (full board).

After breakfast at 8:00 am, you'll start your game drive with prospects to see giraffes, elephants, hartebeests, antelopes, lions, Uganda kobs, and many others. You'll go back to the lodge for lunch, and then take a launch cruise along the Nile River, one of the interesting attractions of a visit to the park. You'll have a short trek at the Bottom of the thundering falls where you will view crocodiles, a variety of water birds like herons and Kingfishers, and schools of hippos, elephants, and buffaloes. Your overnight stay will be at Murchison River Lodge (full board).

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Fort Portal via Hoima the oil city with lunch en route. You will drive through traditional homesteads and farms. This will enable you to enjoy the beautiful scenery across that part of the country. You'll arrive in the evening, and have a rest while sipping some juice and beer. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Lodge.

After early breakfast, you will report to the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre where tourist activities begin, and set out to track chimpanzees in the forest. Chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but not a guarantee. Kibale National Park is one of the most beautiful forests in Uganda. This is the home of our closest living relatives the endangered chimpanzee, the threatened red colobus monkey, and the rare Lā€™Hoests monkey. The forest also boasts of having one of the uppermost varieties and density of primates in Africa tallying up to 13 species including the black and white colobus, blue monkey, grey-cheeked mangabeys, red-tailed monkeys and bush babies, and pottos. After lunch, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, and enjoy a guided walk around Magombe Swamp which will present you with a chance to see a wide range of flora and fauna. You'll see a variety of butterflies, birds, and other insects. Your overnight stay will be at Kibale Forest Lodge.

You will start the day with breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check into your lodge, and have lunch. You'll go for a boat excursion along the Kazinga Channel for a prospect to see hippos at close range, crocodiles from the boat, and buffalo in the shallow waters. Kazinga Channel shoreline is home to a collection of birds like the pink-backed pelicans, fish eagles, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, and many more. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Aardvark Safari Lodge. (Full board: breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

You'll have an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive on the Kasenyi side of the park. You have chances to spot hyenas, lions, leopards, buffaloes, water back, Pumba, Uganda cobs, elephants, forest bush hogs, brushbacks, monkeys, baboons, and a variety of bird species. When you get back from the game drive, your guide takes you to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the crater twin salt lakes where you will meet wild game grazing including crocodiles, elephants, boffolas, and Uganda kobs. Your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

ou'll start the day with breakfast, drive through the park to the Ishasha sector where you will do a game drive looking for tree-climbing lions on the Ishasha side of the park, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, and an assortment of antelopes. Later, you will have lunch and proceed on the journey to Bwindi National Forest where you are expected to arrive in the evening. Your overnight stay will be at Bakiga Lodge (full board).

You'll have breakfast and with a packed lunch, go for gorilla tracking for 4 to 5 hours. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park inhabits almost half of the worldā€™s 650 mountain gorillas. You'll start climbing early with a tracker even though seeing gorillas depends on their dayā€™s movements. Gorillas are naturally reserved and non-violent animals. Itā€™s a memorable and thrilling moment to watch them and possibly photograph these mild giants at a close range. After the gorilla trek, the guide will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. You may do a boat canoe on the lake (price not included). You'll enjoy a relaxed evening as you sip a cold drink. Later, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Birdnest Resort Bunyonyi (full board).

After breakfast, you will start the journey back to Kampala. You'll make a stop along the way for lunch in Mbarara or Masaka depending on time. You have now reached the end of your chimps and gorilla safari and your guide drops you in Kampala/Entebbe.
