Tour Plan

Today after break breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kibale Forest National Park famous for wild chimpanzee tracking. Youā€™ll be traveling through the green countryside and lunch will be en route. On arrival depending on time, you can do a Bigodi swamp walk where you will encounter monkeys and many tropical birds. Also, you can visit the Bigodi community to learn the daily lifestyle of the natives neighboring the park which will expose you to local coffee making and more.

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park offices for a briefing about tracking chimpanzees. Here you will spend up to several hours tracking and observing wild chimps on foot with your expert local ranger guides who personally know the troop members and who will interpret the behavior. Kibale Forest is home to 13 primates. On return, you'll undertake a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Today after breakfast, you will take a game drive, and traverse through the magnificent plain landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park looking out for elephants, lions, Impalas, bushbucks, buffaloes, leopards, and many others. Later in the afternoon, you'll go for a boat cruise along the 45km long Kazinga Channel popular for its big number of hippopotamus population in Africa.

You'll enjoy the wide views of the Nile crocodiles and other wild game quenching their thirst on the waters of Kazinga Channel and flocking its shores on a hot day.
You'll retreat from the 2-hour activity and engage in an afternoon game drive along the channel track as you head to the lodge for relaxation.

After a morning cup of African coffee, you'll engage in a journey to Bwindi. On your way, youā€™ll see do game drive through the Ishasha sector southern part of the park famous for tree-climbing lions and other savannah goers like, elephants water bucks, jackals, and flocks of unfamiliar bird species. Then, you'll proceed to Bwindi for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will assemble at the national park offices for a detailed briefing before heading out on foot to track mountain gorillas with guides from the local community. This exclusive experience is a real privilege, as group sizes are limited and only one group is allowed to view each gorilla group each day. So, viewing permits are almost as scarce as the gorillas! On occasions, the gorillas prove elusive but often can be found within an hour or more by the expert local tracker guides.

It is a very emotionally moving once-in-a-lifetime experience to stare into the eyes of these gentle giants and watch them play and go about their daily activities. Each encounter with the gorillas is different and has its rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming, and resting as the young frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display. On your return, you will be issued with a certificate and then drive to Kisoro for relaxation.

oday after an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park or volcanoes in rwandaĀ  for your golden monkey trekking. After you trek, you will kick start a journey to Kigali.
